The client, a leader in engineering and construction in Spain, sought to modernize operations and empower employees with digital tools. The goal was to establish a scalable, governed framework for low-code development and AI integration. This initiative aimed to simplify workflows and maintain competitiveness in a highly specialized sector by fostering a culture of secure and decentralized digital innovation.

The challenge was to create a secure, governed framework that empowers employees to adopt low-code tools while integrating AI capabilities seamlessly into existing engineering and construction processes without risks.
Approach
BIP xTech and Microsoft worked together to establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Power Platform at the client. The team implemented a governance framework focusing on digital culture, security policies, and asset reusability. By providing centralized components and advanced monitoring, the solution enabled decentralized innovation, allowing teams to autonomously create secure, scalable, and intelligence-driven applications across the business.

Over 3,000 employees now use the platform, with 100 Makers creating custom solutions. More than 300 applications are in production, significantly streamlining workflows. The integration of AI Builder and Copilot Studio has accelerated digital transformation and scalability, bringing intelligence and automation to key areas of the organization.
